Breaking News: Jean-Claude Biver Steps Down as CEO Of Hublot
We'd heard the rumors but couldn't believe it was true. Jean-Claude Biver, the man who has single-handedly made Hublot the powerhouse that it is, has stepped down as CEO. Replacing him will be his right-hand man and long-time managing director Ricardo Guadalupe, while Biver will remain on the board of directors, in fact he'll be Chairman of the board. Mr. Guadalupe took over as CEO on Jan 1, 2012 and it remains to be seen how the loss of Biver at the reigns will effect a brand so closely tied to him. This is what Mr. Biver said via Twitter just six hours ago: 1 OF 1
New Addition To The Collection - Breitling Colt Automatic II
Been lusting over this watch for a while but haven't been able to find the right deal since the watch is now discontinued. Finally found a good deal and pulled the trigger. This is my first Breitling watch and i have to let you know i was pretty blown away when i got it. I mean the amount of details they put into these watches are pretty amazing. Just the dial itself is so detailed i love just starring at it. Love the crystal as well for two reasons. At certain angel it looks like the crystal is not even there so you get a clear view of the beautiful dial. At other angels the protective coating gives blue tone to the dial another beautiful feature i love about this watch. Love the bracelet as well, i always thought that angled links looked pretty awesome. The watch has pretty much high polish look everywhere which gives it that bling look without really being too blingly if that makes any sense to you guys.Enjoy the pic:
How rugged is the 5167?
Just picked up a beautiful 5167. How rugged do people find the watch to be? Anyone have any bad experiences with it while using it as the sports watch that it is? I'm coming from an explorer as my daily wearer, so I'm used to wearing my watch everywhere everyday doing everything.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Stolen Rolex Datejust 116333 - Serial 541G0757 - Tempe AZ
My father's Rolex was stolen from a gym locker in Tempe, AZ. Please keep an eye out in case it comes up for sale. For anybody residing in Tempe, be very wary of keeping valuables in your gym locker. The responding officer has said there has been a lot of thefts occurring recently, in fact there were at least a couple other gym members that had items stolen today or yesterday. The box and papers were not stolen. I've attached a photo of the appraisal which shows what the watch looks like.
