Graham Mercedes GP Trackmaster & Silverstone Chronograph Watches
Graham watches of London is the official "timing partner" of the Mercedes GP Petronas Formula One race team. That means at least a few people there get cool Graham watches, and Graham gets to make another racing themed timepiece. There are two relatively new watches for the partnership. The Mercedes GP Trackmaster (sounds like an outfit from the 80's doesn't it) looks very little like many other Graham watches that people associate with the brand. Think of the large lefty triggered Chronofighter watch. For the Mercedes GP Petronas watch, Graham gave their Trackmaster watch an interesting treatment, but adding dauphine style hands, that are usually found on more "formal" timepieces. I suppose it has to so with the Mercedes Benz culture. Graham also says that the hands look like the points on the Mercedes three-pointed star. What is 100% Graham is the design of the subsidiary chronograph dials. There is also the very similar Graham Mercedes GP Silverstone Chronograph, which has a similar
First Omega - Speedmaster Professional?
Greetings all,New to the forums and to the Omega world.I am very interested in the Speedmaster Professional, or the moon watch. The watch will be worn on a daily basis.Anyone have any thoughts on this potential purchase? Any reliabality/movement issues? I would probably be looking to purchase a newer model, and seems like I can get one from an AD at around $2700. Any thoughts on the price?Thank you all in advance for your time.
5726/1A - White Dial or Grey Dial?
Hi Everyone, it's my first Patek post in this forum.I was looking to get an everyday use Patek that doesn't stand out too much so thought a steel Nautilus would be best. And sort of settled on a 5726/1A with the steel bracelet because I thought the Annual Calendar function would be useful. I am in two minds about the grey or white dial.. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help...Cheers
Thinking of selling my 88GMT and replace with??
So here it goes. I am thinking of selling my Panerai 088 as I don't wear it much and I have been secretly admiring two other watches. One is the almighty 372, and the other more recently as I tried it on at my local AD is the Rolex Explorer ll polar( white face). I had no idea that the Polar was going to sing to me the way it did. So, I am about to sell my 088 to a friendof mine and I am torn on which to buy. If I buy the Rolex I can buy it here in my hometown from the AD with a discount as a repeat customer. If I decide on the 372, well I have to buy from one of our TRF trusted sellers or from Watchuwant based in Miami which I will be visiting in a couple of weeks and stress myself out with smuggling my Panerai across the US/Canada border. What do I get? Regardless, I will have both by the end of the calendar year as I have a sickness like most of you and won't sleep until I have both!
Specific instructions to RSC
Anyone knows if the RSC accepts specific instructions? I have to take my TT GMT II C for service but I don't want to have the watch polished in any way. The scratches it has are small, very superficial and don't bother me at all. I am perfectly fine with a clean up but not polishing.I am not looking for a discount and would pay the service fee set, I just want it done my way. Any experiences?
