Bring a Loupe: A Crazy Rare Zenith El Primero And Five Nicely Priced Chronographs From Wittnauer, Minerva, Mathey-Tissot, And More
This Bring A Loupe will be dedicated entirelely to everyone's favorite complication, the chronograph. You will find an extremely rare (and very exotic looking) Zenith El Primero, the reference G383, produced in only 200 examples in 1970. We also scoured eBay in order to find some relatively affordable chronographs, most of them under $1,000. As you might expect, no Heuer or Universal Geneve made it this week given our budget constraint, but you will discover some other really exciting watches from Wittnauer, Minerva, and Mathey-Tissot. Omega and Military Pricing.
So I have the Paneari 104 and love it but Im currently looking at the Seamaster Professional with orange 12, 6, and 9 hour markers along with a blue leather strap with orange stitching. I was at the Omega boutique in NYC last week and they would not budge from the $6,100 price tag so including tax we are looking at $6,530. However, I went online to the Military Exchange website because I have military privileges and the same watch as $5,140 no tax. No brainier right? I was going to get the Sub no date used on gray market but this Omega is beautiful and would be NIB. Thoughts, comments?

2018 Rolex Jubilee Analysis... A surprise...
See for yourself... Check the width of the outer links compared to the inner links in the Rolex teaser video and two other Jubilee bracelets. The ratio is different. What does this mean? To me, it seems that it could mean two things.1. The inner links are wider so the bracelet will be 21 or 22 mm wide.2. The outer links are less wide and the inner links are wider which will ensure a stronger center area which should reduce ability to stretch, but if you have felt a recent Jubilee, they are very sturdy. Not anything like the old ones.The outer link to inner link width ratio is definitely different.Attached is a photo to show what I'm talking about. Check it out. What could this mean?
