Introducing The IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar Digital Date 75th Anniversary Edition
Continuing the 75th anniversary of its Portuguese family, here we have the Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month from IWC. The name gives a pretty apt description of the watch itself, and if the Hand-Wound is a contemporary throwback, the Perpetual Calendar is a modern adaptation of recent design trends seen in the Portuguese family. The digital date and month display are nothing new to IWC, but this is their first appearance within the Portuguese line. Oh, and what is hardly mentioned in the press release, this is also a chronograph, meaning this is our favorite combination of complications there is. 2 OF 8 The Portuguese Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month Edition "75th Anniversary" packages a familiar complication set-in fact, just last year we saw this very same movement come packaged in an oversized Aquatimer limited edition. However, the caliber 89801 feels a little more appropriate within the context of the Portuguese. In its latest guise, the Portuguese Perpetua
Good price for 15450 Blue?
Hey all, tried on the 15450 in white this past weekend at the local boutique and really liked it! Was curious to get your thoughts on how much of a discount I should be aiming for. Also, are most AP AD's typically unwilling to ship to first time customers? Would love to save on sales tax if at all possible. Thanks guys
Omega FOIS on bund
I wanted to do this even before I bought the watch..received the bund today and here is how it looks now..The FOIS was not getting any wrist time for a while but now it is going to be my first pick with jeans and brown shoes!
Panerai Confusion
I was thinking of maybe going off the Rolex path for my second luxury watch. I have a 114060 and was thinking something with a leather strap, with a date and the cool guard thing on the crown ;)however I cannot make heads or tales of the little intricacies. The collections seem straight forward enough kind of, looks like a luminor is what I see alot that I like, but then I go into that collection and there is like 50 variations!Looking at the Pam00048 as it checks all the boxes, is there another model that would better suite me? I am looking for something a little unique if possible but not so off the beaten path that it is an acquired taste. 7.5 wrist btw and the 114060 is the perfect fitsteve
6 Digit Lug Chamfer Modification ?
Lug chamfers add such a design element and charm to a case, but have been diminished in time to their current non existence. Has anyone modified the 6 digit case with chamfers ?If so, please post some photos !I understand the purist view of never modifying a Rolex, and usually share the view because of my vintage interests. Due to massive production and the eventual decline in watch interest, many 6 digit watches will not become vintage collectibles. If a watch is a keeper, not be sold, why not ?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
