Watch Case Materials Explained: Titanium
Please welcome Mr. ?lker ?zcan who will collaborate with aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer on a few articles discussing materials and processes used in watch cases and other components. Ozcan is a professional Materials Engineer and owns a small R&D company (ndsgnwatches-dealer) - and he loves mechanical watches and loves the exotic materials used in those watches. The purpose of this article series is to enlighten watch lovers about many aspects of watch materials so that everyone can make more educated decisions about the watches they are buying. Now on to Mr. Ozcan:In this first article I have chosen to start with Titanium. Titanium has recently become very popular in high-end watches, and it is not without reason. Price of 10 year old new watch
HelloI would like to hear your views on this.About 10 years ago, Omega made 69 platinum Speedmasters. I have found an unsold one! The way I am looking at it is that Omega have not been able to sell them all in 10 years but have continued to increase the watches price for 10 years. How much do you think a watch's price will have increased in that time? Does 5% per year sound about right or do you think it would be more than that? I'm wondering if it might be worth a silly offer at closer to the price ten years ago. Thanks
Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial: Black Steel or Blue Titanium?!
I've decided to buy the amazing new Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial, but I am not sure what would be the best option:The Black Steel model that is closer to the original from 1957 or the the lighter and more sophisticated Blue Titanium model, but more expensive and not so vintage like the Black one??!!I need some help - please - to decide.

526 Regatta?
what does everyone think of the Pam 526? I really like the dial and was surprised that it wore comfortably because of the titanium and the rubber strap. I know it's a watch that doesn't exhibit the classic Panerai characteristics and it's quite costly. Is it a strong seller? How is the movement's reliability? Any owners here? Thanks in advance.
