SalonQP 2014: An Ever-Personal Encounter With The World Of Horology
2014 marked?my second attendance, and more importantly, the sixth edition?of the British watch exhibition called SalonQP, held at the Saatchi Gallery in London. Last year, in my comprehensive article about the event, I?referred to it as a "most personal exhibition of fine watches, remarkable brands and astoundingly difficult crafts," and I was curious to see how things had evolved from one year to the next. To my surprise, there have been some interesting developments, with some of the?core values remaining the same. The 6PM start of the first day did allow a quick hike in the Hyde park C on the wrist is the Citizen Signature Series Grand Touring Sport. Before we get to discuss the changes, let's see what was unchanged for 2014. The Saatchi Gallery is still every bit as beautiful of a venue as it was last year, and?it certainly lends a most suiting atmosphere to the event. What value this old Omega Seamaster?
Hi, I have an old Omega Seamaster, I attach the pic. The pic is very bad but the watch seems new. How old is it please? Winding up is manual. What value can this old Omega Seamaster get? Thanks, Fox
5119J problem
the sapphire glass bottom cover just came off from my wife's calatrava 5119J. also, the watch (5 months old) has had issues recently, like stopping in the middle of the night (it gets wound always first thing in the morning). anyone here has experienced this or similar to this before?
New addiction
I've been looking at Panerai for some years, and love the way it is subtle and simple, yet elegant. Never had chance to pull a trigger on for about 2 years, finally saw DavidSW had one for sale 2 weeks ago and i couldn't pass on the deal.it's a Pam 50 and i went ahead to order the rubber strap and buckle from the boutique and keep the stainless strap in the case since all my other watches are in SS band, i like the rubber strap being more causal and sporty.here are 2 pictures i took... haven't pick up my SLR for quite sometime and i guess these will be my warm up shots again for the photo season.. enjoy! Thanks DavidSW!
Removing oyster bracelet links
Hi guys, Just a quick question, When removing the links from the oyster bracelet on either 12 or 6 o clock side, is it best to remove the links closest to the clasp first or the link closest to the lugs? Is there a difference? And if so what is it? Sorry for the newb question. Just wanted to know before I attempt to do it when I get my new BLNRThank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
