Sinn 556i Review
Sinn watches hardly need an introduction here on w&w. Generally a favorite amongst tool watch fans, military watch fans and affordable watch enthusiasts; Sinn's pack incredible craftsmanship, over-engineered tech and restrained style all into generally accessibly priced packages. From their newest offerings every year at Basel, to reviewing some of their classics, to an exclusive interview with brand founder, Helmut Sinn, we've got the brand pretty well covered. If you need a refresher, or this is your first time encountering them, check out our Sinn archive.Today, I'll be taking a look at the entry-level Sinn, the 556i. Along with its fraternal twin, the 556a, these two watches represent the least expensive new watches available from the brand, coming in at $1090 on leather*. Since the review will talk about everything the watch has going in its favor, here I will talk about what it doesn't have: Sinn tech. Sinn is known for it's various technologies, most notably Tegimented cases
Is the 15204OR Discotinued?
I am currently undecided between a platona, patek 5980r or AP extra thin openworked in rose gold. At the moment, I am leaning towards the AP but am unsure if it is discotinued or still available at ADs/Boutiques. I understand that it can be found at a number of greys but I would rather not purchase from them. I would appreciate your advice on this and any pictures would be great . Thanks for your time.
Omega PO bezel insert change Question
Hi all,I have been enjoying my new Planet Ocean 8500. However, I would like to change the bezel from black to orange. I don't want to have to send it in for it to be done. Is there any way I could purchase an orange bezel and do it myself. I've seen youtube videos of people changing there bezel inserts by using an ordinary butter knife. Can it be done on the new PO?I would hate to have to send it in and pay a ton more when it could be easier. Of course that's the question. Is it?I know there are a few threads on here that it has been done, but not exactly how. Someone on here took theirs to a local jeweler and they did it. Mine here will not touch Rolex or Omega because they aren't qualified or something. The dealer I purchased from may not either....So does anyone have any advise? Thanks!
Sourcing...
If anyone knows how to source a 3569.31 Apollo 11, please PM me.Thanks!
