Watch_Amish Is Hilarious, Honest Commentary On All Luxury Watch Social Media
What does AP stand for? On the surface, you have a pretty darn funny place that ironically combines Amish lifestyle with luxury timepieces, as well as a deeper element of social commentary on the arguably absurd and socially irresponsible environment that now exists in many luxury watch social media channel accounts. The "Watch Amish" name is first and foremost a humorous retort to "Watch Anish," a luxury watch lifestyle and fashion channel on Instagram started by Mr. Anish Bhatt as a way of combining his clever visual talents and appreciation of
Who says people don't notice watches!
Had a brief work trip today to Melbourne, while collecting my breakfast the flight attendant commented I like your Royal Oak. Unfortunately our time was limited to chat but he showed me his lovely TT GMT. 20 seconds later the next team came down with coffee and the guy said love love your shirt and watch. The original attendant came back and chatted and said he was a regular on TRF, sadly we did not have more time to chat. The 41mm RO certainly makes a statement. Good to know forum members are everywhere and only a watch sighting away!!!!
Need help buying a Speedmaster
I would like to buy a Speedmaster, I leaning toward a used one, can anyone give me any tips on what to look for? Thanks Doug
Thoughts on Patek 5124G
Hello all,I am considering purchasing a 5124G preowned. I have not seen the watch in person nor tried it on. I have watched a youtube video and it looks really nice. I love the deep blue dial. I have owned a JLC reverso before so the shape is fine for me. It looks like the watch really sits on the wrist nicely. I currently own a PP 5110J world time and the 5146R annual calendar. What do you guys think about adding the 5124 to my collection? I don't have a white gold piece or a blue dial piece so I think it would add some nice variety to my collection.Does anyone have any experience with this piece? Do you think the white gold and blue face is a fad or will it be able to stand the test of time? Thanks very much. You have a great forum here. The collective knowledge on this forum staggering. PS I would add pics but I can't seem to figure out how to do it.
5990 available
Hi all, good news for those who want a 5990, it seems to be easily available as I am looking on grey dealer sites, DavidSW has one, as well as a great grey dealer friend of mine for people living in Europe, Rivierawatch, for 57K in US$ or 50K in euros for the one in Europe. So if 2 grey dealer sites have it in unworn condition I think it's not so hard to get, either through an AD or through a grey dealer, and these two are in the best I know of.In any case it really looks nice in pics, would love to see one in real, my friend isn't in Paris unfortunatelyI wouldn't put it on my 2nd or 3rd choice for a Patek, those would be 5167R and 5726, strap or bracelet, but it is really cool.So the goal of this thread was to make people who wanted it get one since it's very easy, and hoping to get pics very soon.
