Thoughts, not sure there is a right or wrong answer
I recently sold my AP15400 because it was just too big, so I sold it and my Bark DD as I got a great deal on Platinum Day Date which I love, effectively a flat swap out.I knew one day I would come back to an AP RO, but unlike the trend I want to go back to the origins of RO i.e. 36mm with its thin movement, which I think looks great as a dressy sports watch just as my DD is.I just so happen to be sitting in a hotel room in Boston and made the mistake of looking at the site where I have bought a watch in the past here in Boston (yes I live in Sydney). Just figured since I was in town...........I think this watch looks amazing, obviously very rare, so very hard to genuinely price, it looks like it has never been worn the case is immaculate, I think this would have been an original leather band model not sure if this is the original band, may go and look tomorrow (TRYING VERY HARD TO RESIST, WIFE ENABLING ME FROM SYDNEY). Help me TRF........ I am nowhere near the expert on AP that many of
Incoming......or not!
My friendly AD delivered me a Novelty Rose Gold which I wasn't quite ready for as I have had a few other incomings recently. I have owned one before (albeit not the newer 26401 version), and of course it is a fabulous watch. Still all stickered up etc..Should I keep it or sell it? Anyone want it if the latter?
My favourite watch.
I'm very lucky to have some wonderful watches in my collection but the Noir is my favourite. So glad I found it.
Moving a 114060 for 14060
Hey folks. Wanted to get some additional input before making a move in my collection. Thinking about selling my 114060 for a 14060. Has anyone made a similar move and regretted the shift? I think the 14060 May sit a bit better on the wrist for a suit at work, but would love to hear people's experiences with the two. Also, are you giving anything up on the trade in terms of functionality or have people found the 14060 to be as durable?
