Watches NEWS
The Speedmasters that have failed the water test.
I hear everyone that everyone wishes and thinks the Speedmaster Pro fails when it comes to water.Post your water failed Speedmaster here. I don't think it exists in a large scale. My Speedmaster has never ever failed at water resistence. Pools, swiming, diving, and whatever. I believe the Speedmaster is underated in being waterproof. NASA asks a lot and will not give less than perfection. The BS stops now. Who's Speedmaster has not proven to be waterproof? 30M, 50M I don't care. It does and has not leaked unless it hasn't been serviced since 1969.
Thanks for the advice (new watch alert)
Paid a visit to ben bridge timeworks today. Picked up my first, and hopefully not my last patek. Brand new 5167 with bracelet. Took lots of pics to document the event. I took the advice of many forum members and skipped over the bell and ross for my next piece. I still want one, but maybe as a christmas present. Forgive the crummy pics, ill post more pics when it gets some wrist time. And finally, on the wrist at home...but still has the plastic on it.
Flip blue dial sky dweller for yellow gold gmt?
I've had the sky dweller since September and really like it. I also have a yearning for a yellow gold gmt master with black dial. Would you flip a blue dial sky dweller and use that plus cash for a used yellow gold model... or do you think it would be hard to replace that blue dial sky dweller in the future and hold on to it and add gmt later (probably much later given they are around $25k pre loved).
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Basically I was subject to fraud where some w****er took my 2 Rolex's to sell on a commission sale agreement, all seemed legit until I saw my Watches on a site middle of the country for sale! Long story short I managed to contact fraud and police and I've got my YM back and the Datejust hopefully is coming back Monday. My issue is my Rolex Yachtmaster 68628, 18kt gold midi, some very kind person has taken a link out of the oyster strap which in November I paid rolex 6800 for a new bracelet and now it's too small to get on my wrist as the clasp is on the last hole! Anyone got one laying about or one on there strap they don't need? Appreciate any help! Alex 07941997757
