OK. So first thing - the title of the thread only represents a concern, not an event. I hope nobody ever has to experience itThe pondering though, is simply...If one was fully insured, for replacement or compensation, how would it work? Its a paradoxical situation - because you can't buy one at rrp readily, if you were compensated. Presumably they won't give you the required - nearly 100% extra required to buy one from grey market... Neither can the insurance company acquire one in the constraints of the current market?!!!
Panerai 171 - to be polished
Dear All,it's always a pleasant to read your answers.I am planning to purchase this 171 Panerai...the Watch is full set, J or K serie.Nevertheless, look on picture how wearing such nice the previous owner distroyed it plenty of scratches....do you think that being polished at Panerai service center, it will come like new?thank you for replies.regardsKr.

Went to my AD and they didn't have one in stock, can you please post some pictures and wrist shots. This combination looks amazing from what I can tell. How does it go with dress wear blue and back suits? How about casual? This could be the holy grail watch for me, I love the bezel and the neutral-ness of it. Stunner!! Rolex 18038 case - double gold stamp? Does this seem legit to you ?
Hi guys, Found a Rolex 18038 over the internet on a local site a few days ago and it seems a little weird to me. It has a double gold stamp. I asked the guy about the serials , he gave me some pictures and a serial number dating the watch to 1985. What do you make of this ? Haven't seen 18038 with this kind of gold stamp markings before. The movement though seems legit - 3055, but could the case be after market or something?
