CK2998? Not!
Don't get me wrong. The 311.33.40.30.02.001 is a beautiful watch and I would not mind having one but the FOIS more closely resembles the original CK2998.Maybe Omega needed an excuse for another in the seemingly endless progression of Speedy LEs which allows them to use up some of the 39.7mm cases. My other criticism applies to the horrendous hobnail design of the case back which originated with the FOIS case back:The design of the pre-moon case back would have been more appropriate and much cleaner. It was a pre-moon back that I customized for my FOIS to commemorate Schirra's Sigma 7 Mercury flight:Again, I love the 311.33.40.30.02.001 but the purist in me had to get this off my chest.

I recently noticed that the Patek website has added a few new films supporting their motto of You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation.They have added Sydney, Bangkok and Los Angeles. I think these are all nice additions. Suggestion /Opinion for 6 inch wrist
Hello , I have narrowed my choices to -- --patek 5205 ( 40 mm ), patek 5140 ( 37 mm ), 5146 ( 39 mm ), and 5396 ( 38 mm ).I have only tried 5146 as the rest are unavailable. Not taking into consideration the price and look of each model, which one will look good/ fit well for my 6 inch wrist size, where the watch wont look too big/ awkward/ funny ? any guys with small wrist with any of above models can chime in. I currently have a 5116 calatrava - 36 mm and fit is good . Thanks
