I got a brand new Speedy Pro sapphire sandwich moon watch for USD $2500.00The Planet Ocean on bracelet was USD $2000.00 but I already have a Sub C.Love the manual wind and the see-thru back of the cool movement. Advice on a Datejust purchase please. New vs Vintage
Hi,I am looking at buying a datejust watch for every day wear and wanted some advice on peoples experience of purchasing Rolex's.I have seen two models that i am keen on, the Datejust oyster 36, steel and gold with fluted bezel and black dial with a jubilee bracelet, model 116233.The other is model 16078, yellow gold, Datejust 36 with black dial, this one is vintage, 33 years old from a reputable online watch seller with no box or papers.Firstly, is buying with no box and papers a big issue? Also i want to buy something i like but also with the view that it wont lose value and is there anything i should be looking out for when purchasing new vs vintage.Thanks

Sell the 16600 for the BLNR?
Hey guys.So the BLNR is my absolute grail watch. I currently own the 16600 SD and 16570 EXP II (which I will most likely never sell because it's my birth year). I have been thinking of trading the 16600 up to the BLNR, or selling it cash and buying a BLNR.I know the saying is don't flip just add in this forum. But currently I do not have the means to add, and I don't know if I will have the means to add a third Rolex in the foreseeable future. (I'm not in need of $. My savings must go toward other investments and I prefer a 2 watch collection)Pros about the SD that make me want to keep it:-When it was in production, it was rarely sold over the sub which in my eyes gives it more character it more valuable in the future (just my opinion)- M serial which means as far as I know it was produced in the final year of pre ceramic.- potential collector piece? Hi All has anyone any idea what country this code belongs to or maybe it has been discontinued i cannot find any reference to it.This code is on the certificate that came with a 1988 168000 submariner.Any help please
