Watch What-If: Rolex Submariner
"Watch What-If" is a special column on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer that asks the playful question "what if an iconic watch you know and love was offered in a different style?" The idea embraces a good timepiece's core design and has fun by offering new colors and material concepts to stimulate your senses. These ideas may be provocative, artistic, or just plain silly. This is about fun, Photoshop, and the celebration of wrist watch design and experimentation. The original design we work off will always be at the bottom of the article. Ideas and comments are more than welcome. Enough response may even lead to a round two of design. You are also encouraged to suggest watches that make it into the Watch What-If section here on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer.Watch What-Iffed: Rolex Submariner Ref 116610

Any recommendations???
Production numbers 5170G 010
So I just bought my grail. I wear it everyday whether I am at work or at my son's soccer game. Any guesses on how many of the black faced 5170s are produced annually?
Satisfaction?
Hi all, as you know I would like as my 3rd Patek, in 10-12 months from now, to buy a 5167R, but I am starting to wonder if I shouldn't either just get a SS, almost half the price, they abuse a little on this model IMO, paying 2 times more because there's a little bit of gold is a little too much IMO, even if I would probably be getting one when we will come back to France for vacation and since we will be living in Thailand we should have 16.9% tax refund, since the retail in euros is around 31K, with the tax refund it should be around 26K which is already more acceptable than 31K, but stillOn pics I find the SS nice but no where near the 5167R which I find really special, but since it's almost impossible to see a 5167SS in real, by the way if ever you own one and come to Paris would love to buy you a drink and to see the watch in real life.I'm afraid that if I get the SS I would be compromising and would get bored of it, flip it loosing money and getting in the end the 5167R.Either o
