Time for Her: 7 Ladies’ Watches For Your Last-Minute Gift Consideration
It’s a few days before Mother’s Day and you still haven’t found the right gift for the woman who raised you? Read on. We offer a sampling of new women's watches to make your last-minute shopping a snap. The Dior VIII Grand Bal Fil de Soie has an 11 1?2-ligne automatic caliber that's inverted so that the rotor is on the dial. The rotor itself is highly unusual: the rose-gold oscillating weight is woven with a single 1.5-meter-long pink silk thread and set with diamonds. The dial is made of black mother-of-pearl. The 38-mm case is made of ceramic and rose gold with a diamond-set bezel. The watch has a 42-hour power reserve. It comes on a black patent-leather strap with a rose-gold buckle, also set with diamonds. $46,500.Dior VIII Grand Bal Fil de SoieChanel's Mademoiselle Priv collection features design motifs associated with Coco Chanel, like the camellia, on artisanal dials. Sub date or no date
Hello AllI am new to this forum and was looking for suggestions. I have a two-tone GMT II and like it. It's a bit flashy for me. I am considering looking for a daily watch. The price point and style of the no date submairner has my attention. My local AD has a date and a no date. Of course no negotiation. I'm not really a collector or investor. Obviously the brand maintains its value. I've tried both on and would be happy with either. Thanks in Advance for the feedback.
Rolex BLNR on RubberB
Well after receiving the strap last week, and the burgeon tool, I managed to change the rubber strap on my Tudor Pelogas, as that is what i brought it with, too the bracelet, was a little tricky, but then found that the bracelet needed sizing. So a visit to my Ad was in order, Now as it was a little tricky for me, I decided to take the BLNR and strap with me to the dealer to see if they would change it for me.After doing the tudor, I asked if they would mind doing the BLNR for me, No of course not, will be a couple of minutes.Came out a happy chappy, feels good, now do I get one for the SubLVc?? with green stripe..HHHmmmmmDid try on the BB Blue while I was there....nice.
Daytona Advice Needed
I currently have a 116520 White Dial. I have an option to get a New Ceramic Black Dial 1165500. For those of you that own or owned 116520 and 116500 either white or black, and you have to choose, which one you prefer and why. Those of you that sold 116520 to get 116500, any regrets? If I pass, it will be a while for next opportunity as there are a number of people on the list. I don’t want to flip the 116500 as I value opportunity from the AD.Thanks
Acquisition 16613
Gents,Looking at a purchase from Takuya! It's a 16613. Possible replacement of dial and hands. Really unsure. Curious if it's been overpolished. Your thoughts and expertise on all aspects are much appreciated. Dial doesn't look overly purple.https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=580492
