Watches NEWS
BEST FROM: watches-dealer & Friends May 22, 2015
We have recently introduced a new series called "Cost of Entry" which features the most affordable model offered by a popular watch company, and we are kicking the series off with none other than Rolex. Speaking of Rolex, we are also taking a close look at their sister company Tudor, and how their newest watches and recently announced in-house movement are going to affect the market for Swiss tool watches. It is often said that the best way to engage customers (and the press) is to invite them to tour the manufacture C we have dozens of manufacture visit articles published here, on watches-dealer. The chance to go on a trip aside, it is through these articles that we can get?closest to the craftsmen and artisans who manufacture the watch,?and such trips are always enlightening and eye-opening. In this round-up, we show you what goes on behind the scenes at one of the oldest and most respected names in the business - Minerva. And to end the month of May, we are also looking at new watches
Any of the ladies here have AP
So in the quest of getting my Diver, my lovely wife now wants to get something with some sort of his and hers. Now I know there is obviously not an AP Diver ladies piece but she mainly meant to get AP's for the both of us. I already locked in on a Diver that I am picking up this week but there are barely any photos or wrist shots of the lady AP RO. Im looking at getting her the 33mm RO Quartz model. If any of you ladies or you gents with wives that have these pieces have any photos I would really really appreciate seeing them. Just for reference.
Nothing like APs

Advice Needed - Best Patek Dress Watch that Wears Casually
Hey Everyone,I am finally feeling the pull of a Patek dress watch.Seeing the 5270 (white dial) and 5131r in person has cast a spell on me.But are those too dressy for more casual attire?Since dress watches are not something I have a lot of experience with,I am coming here to seek sage advice.Question: Which Patek Dress watch references, metals, dial colors etc. are the easiest to wear with casual attire as well as more dressed up.I am not looking for any Nautilus (including 5980, 5990, etc) or Aquanaut references, but more the classic (and modern) Patek dress watch references.Main criteria 1) Definitely under $120-130K (but more realistically $50-100K range)2) Must dress down to even jeans, shorts, sandals, nice shirts, and sharp graphic tees even. Is that possible to pull off in a fashionable way?3) Ideally a watch that will not tank on the secondary market. My preference would be platinum, but white gold may be necessary for monetary reasons.Actually I am open to suggestions on which
