Think about Hermès and suddenly your mind envisions magnificent French leather goods. Yet, this manufacture also has had a very important place in horology, collaborating with Jaeger-LeCoultre, and for decades retailing Universal Genève wristwatches in Paris. Hermès also started producing its own lines of watches in the late 1970s. The Arceau, Heure H, and Cape Cod that I saw during my childhood in France exhibited the elegance, and playful design, characteristic of the brand. New omega owner, and lots of concerns
I have a placed an order from amazon and purchased an omega sea-master quartz 22218000(but still didn't receive it). I prefer automatic watches but i couldn't get myself to pay for the 2220.8000 so i chose the less expensive one, but i got a bit upset when i realised that the 2221.8000 wasnt worn by daniel craig, and it was worn by pirece brosnan. Anyhow, can you help learn about my watch? any information about this model or about the brand itself would be usefull. Moreover, do you know if Amazon is a trusted seller of omegas (even though its not an AD)? and did i make a good choice (keeping in mind that i dont care about the co xial movement, neither the warranty, i just need a luxury and stylish premium brand watch that i can wear all week, and not getting very concerned about getting it scratched, in such case of buying an expensive rolex submariner).

Do You Find Your Speedy Is Difficult To Wind..
I love my Speedy....but the crown is set so deep in the crown guards that it seems the only way to wind it is by the very sharp edges at the top..I'm not a large person; 6', 190lbs...and my fingers are average for my size....but it just seems that the design leaves something to be desired...Only the edge sticking out to be able to get a decent grip on seems like a waste of a very well designed crown...I mean, why have a large crown if you can only use the very end of it.. It would be perfect if it were screw down...then it would pop out for a full grip.Anybody else notice this ??

My baby is back!
My baby (5085/1A) hasnt had much wrist time since I bought it close to over a year now and did not notice that it was running 13 seconds fast daily until recently as I have been wearing the watch every day for 3 weeks. I gave it to a well known Authorized Rolex repair guru who is also PP trained for a tune up and now its running 2 seconds fast! The watch otherwise is in perfect condition as it was serviced before I bought it.I am a happy chap!!! It will be back on my wrist tomorrow night.
