My Patek Dilemma
I was about to pull the trigger on a Vacheron Overseas.. I'd been also looking at a Deep Sea Rolex.. I love both watches. I love both brands.. to call them brands is a bit underwhelming, for what they are, to me. I have concluded I should just get a Patek Aquanaut or Nautilus and be done with the searching. I have also looked at my collection.. Jaeger REverso, Rolex Explorer 1, Rolex SubC 2-tone, PAnerai GMT, Vacheron Historique.. I love and adore each piece for what it is, what it represents, but I wish I'd not have bought the Panerai, at times, and wish maybe I'd have foregone other pieces.. My dilemma has been every year or 3.. I buy a nice watch.. what I Should have been doing was buying 1 patek over a 5-year period.. So what I Am going to do is starting saving monthly funds.. diverting into an account, not kidding. I am going to amass enough for a used Patek sports watch.. over time.. it might take 5 years, but I will do it. I welcome thoughts about how you all found the disciplin
Aquanaut or Nautilus for "Dressy Casual" Person
I am looking for advice on my next watch. I work from home and have a successful internet business, but I rarely wear formal attire... Mainly high end brand shirts, shorts and jeans (Armani, Gucci, Burberry, Etro, etc.). Great brands but their more casual or dress casual stuff. And short sleeve most of the year because I live in florida. Also, I wear nice shorts and Gucci or Prada sandals a lot. Actually I may be a bit more of a casual dresser even, only with high end brands.I say all this just to paint a picture to make your advice tailored to what I wear. I have looked at the AP 15400, 15300 and 15202 AND the Patek Nautilus and Aquanaut only briefly. I am drawn to get a Patek first.I know its all about personal preference, but if anyone has both an Aquanaut and Nautilus, I would love your thoughts on which may be the better first choice in SS (put money and availability aside, because I know the Nautilus is harder to come by and a bit more expensive).I have been racking my brain and
PAM 422 Has Arrived
Here is my new 422. I must admit it doesn't have that special something the 372 has. It's not bad though.
Can anyone tell me the model number on this Rolex?

SD4K Phasing Out?
I purchased an SD4K a few weeks back and was at my local AD again today. I noticed in the glass where the SD4K used to sit was still empty, so I asked if they had ordered another to take its place. The AD stated that Rolex said they are not sending out any more SD4K's till April (after Baselworld?) and that they are hard to find. He then mentioned that the SD4K 116600 is on its way to being a collectors item. Is this a possible hint at Rolex phasing out the 116600? Possibly fixing the lugs or coming out with a new model? Anyone else hear of this?
