Autodromo Stradale Review
A new Autodromo is always an exciting thing. Their last few models have each impressed us greatly with ?their style, quality and finishing. Each subsequent model a little more finely tuned than the last; each also seeming to respond a bit more to the wants of the watch enthusiast crowd. With their newest watch, the Stradale, Autodromo has utilized for the first time the growing go-to automatic, the Miyota 9015. An addition I know everyone will be very happy to see.As with their previous models, the Stradales draw inspiration from Italian automotive history (save the Prototipo, which draws from racing chronographs). This time, looking to the Italian Berlinettas (a sport 2-seater coup) of the 50's and 60's. Like those cars, the Stradale is smallish, fun and nimble, featuring a nice mix of sport and class. Any good AP parts sources out there?
I'm looking to buy a BR.0944.001.ST bracelet for my early A-Series 5402 Royal Oak. AP service has them but was hoping to find a slightly used one or one from an indie seller so I don't have to pay retail. Any tips are greatly appreciated!
Close call.....strap pin dropped out
Hi all, thought I would share my lucky escape of yesterday. I was sat in the car in a conf call glanced down to admire my newly acquired panda to see one of the strap bars half out. *** Hell !! I touched my watch and the pin totally fell out and luckily I caught my watch in my lap - no damage done. Today I have called AP and have a new replacement cap en route as well as ordering a 1.4mm screwdriver and LOCTITE !!! It could have been a lot lot worse.....
I'm pretty impressed so far.......Breitling SOH content
I picked this guy up recently and have really been enjoying it. This is my first Breitling and I am thinking I got a pretty good bang for my buck with this one. My wife actually said that she likes this one the most out of all the nice watches I have owned and currently own. It's kinda funny considering this is probably the cheapest watch I have bought in years, but it does look amazing on the wrist. I was actually leaning towards the IWC Aquatimer when I noticed the SOH. I actually decided to buy both but then realised that the IWC had some wear marks since it had been in the case and tried on multiple times. They did not have any others in the safe so I said I would wait a bit and just enjoy the SOH. Well, now I don't think I even want the IWC, this has satisfied the itch that I was looking to scratch. The thing that made the Breitling win out over the IWC was the fact that, well, it looks amazing, but also, it has 24mm lugs. This watch has opened the door to all those wonderful Paner
What in the world is this?
https://shop.burdeens/products/r..plete-set-2This seems to be a sub not found in nature. Is this just the dial and bezel from a smurf frakensteined onto a regular steel SubC?Or something else entirely?
