BRM Timepiece Is Love Letter To Motor Oil
In love with Gulf Racing, the?BRM CNT-44-GULF watch is brimming with oil. Everyone knows that most mechanical watch movements contain oil in them as a necessary part of machine lubrication. So yea, most all watches already have oil inside of them. But not quite like this. For oil magnates and elephants (you oil people know what I am talking about), this is a timepiece that celebrates good ol' black gold with a small container of motor oil right in the dial. Face off! Not just a great movie
So I'm thinking of picking up a new watch and the new chronomat 44 gmt is in the mix. Problem is that I love the blue dial and the black one. Does anybody know how much of a pain in the ass it would be to get the dial changed in the event I grew tired of a particular color? Could any watchmaker do it or would I need to send it back to B to get it done? Any guess on how much it would cost?Anybody actually do it?Thanks

No love for WG Nautiluses?
Hi all, it's been more or less one year I took interest in Patek and I was just thinking that I can't remember a single incoming thread about a WG 5712 or 5711, is there no love at all for those watches here? I must admit that even if the 5712G is a great watch it would come for me only after the SS and RG versions, I saw one in real but it was in the Patek Paris salon, and found the dial interesting but was not very impressed by it, but have heard that the slate dial, seems that they call it like that, in direct light has a beautiful shade of silver/grey.If there are any owners of the 5712G or 5711G, could you please post pic, I would love to see how the dial looks like in the wild, one of the most beautiful dials is IMO the 5712R, Jorge who posted a lot of pics of his posted some where the dial is brown, grey and even kind of blue, I even thought when I saw them that they were photoshopped, so would like to know and see what kind of shades the dial goes into.At the time when I was lo
