Baselworld 2013: Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon
Welcome the all black ceramic Omega Speedmaster. This must be some kind of PR trick, putting?tantalizing?images online and then taking them down quickly, but with just enough time to let a few people have a sneak preview.Seems that enough information has gotten out that I think Omega knows they have something really special to tease Omega fans everywhere. The?new Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch is coming, and from the way things look, it's one pretty watch. The name says it all.? The name, "Dark Side of the Moon," pretty much refers to the fact that this is a bold black watch that just looks simply stunning. See a full watches-dealer Omega Speedmaster watch review here.Materials-wise, this is one high tech?extravaganza of a watch. The headline feature, of course, is the black ceramic used extensively on this watch, including the case, case-back and chronograph pushers. The dial is in black zirconium oxide ceramic with two blackened sub-dials. Case size is 44.25mm, and the applied indexes a
Botta Design Watches Available Through Kenmar Watches
It is easy to talk about nice watches, it is harder to tell you where to get them. If only the watch industry had volume and distribution like the electronics industry. Perhaps someday. Until that point, you'll hear from me when I learn about a store online selling a desirable watch brand. Of course you will also see me point to eBay auctions. The online watch store, Kenmar watches is now selling a full line of Botta Design watches which I discussed here. This is worth noting as Botta Design watches are among the best looking and Bauhaus minimalist watches around, and for an excellent price. Their designs earned them a Red Dot award, and I am happy to see them becoming more available. My favorite Botta Design watch is the Helios Plus, which incorporates a spirit of pure legibility. Adding everything you need without anything you don't. The hour and minute hands align perfectly with the number markers, while the seconds display is in a subsidiary position. The result is a perfectly balanc
Future Diving With N.O.A; The 4.80 Scyllis Dive Watch
Yes, this is undeniably a nice watch, with a futurism industrial twist. It most reminds me of the style seen on mid 1990s nautical-themed science fiction TV show, "Sea Quest." Notice the "techy" font used for the numbers and the rounded edges combined with sleek ridged rubber and you will know what I am talking about. Diving watches are probably the most popular segment of watches because they combine a legible style, good looks, and rugged endurance. Easily my favorite, I could outfit my entire collection with diving watches and be perfectly happy.N.O.A is an interesting watch maker stealing the stoplight with its unique designs that combine fluid organic lines, futuristic looks, and practical features. The name actually stands for "None Of the Above." The 4.80 Scyllis is easily my favorite watch from the maker, and it is their first attempt at a dive watch! We can thank N.O.A for the Scyllis name which means "sailor" and is more than a combination of the typical marine terms that com
DSSD Being Discontinued: Prices & Demand
Numerous sources from Europe (ADs) typically reply (to requests for availability of the JC DSSD) that orders/deliveries for DSSD are now closed and that the DSSD is being discontinued (i am thus guessing that had this been true the DSSD discontinuation is taking effect after Basel this year as the DSSD is still on the main website of Rolex). I was wondering and that is the point of this thread:How will the prices and demand of DSSD and DSSD JC be affected had this info been true? What say you?
Rolex Sea-Dweller 126600 Rare In Stock?
Are these rare to find instock at AD's? I was under the impressions that there was a waiting list, but happened to see one in the case at my AD over the weekend...
