Frederique Constant Slimline Moonphase
It’s a rare pleasure in the price range we discuss here at worn&wound to find watches with manufacture, or in-house, movements. It’s even more rare for them to be Swiss made calibers. Well, that’s exactly what we have here with the new Frederique Constant Slimline Moonphase Manufacture. For a starting price of around $3,500 one can obtain a watch that seems to defy the laws of luxury watches and be, while not inexpensive, in the accessible price range. The Slimline, of which there are several variations, is as clean as dress watches come. Simple and elegant cases with gentle curves and great finishing are topped with sapphire crystals, front and back,?reserved domed dials, applied markers and thin leaf hands. As the name suggests, the whole line maintains a low profile, making them comfortable and easy to fit under a shirt, as a dress watch must be. What to choose?
Hi guys,I'm looking at adding a Speedmaster Professional to my collection, but I have three options. These are:1. LNIB - modern 2007 model from a grey dealer. 2. 1978 model from a grey dealer that offers one year warranty. No box or papers. 3. 1978 model, without box and papers. Needs a service, doing this with Omega would give me a two year warranty, and an as good as new watch. All these options are similarly priced, so that should not be taken into consideration. What do you think would be the best option, and why?

Patek Philippe - Can anyone recognize this model?
An old friend of mine has got an amazing collection of grand complication Patek Philippe, Vacheron, Rolex watches. He has also got this while he lived in New York in the 1970's. Does anyone happen to know which model that would be? Apparently it was a very limited edition watch! Thanks in advance guys!
