The Sotirio Bvlgari Annual Calendar
To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the opening of their first store in Rome, Bvlgari is launching a line of watches bearing the founder's name, Sotirio Bvlgari. Each watch in the line shares distinctive design elements. The cases are produced by Bvlgari Group member Finger, which has been making watch cases since 1898. The case lugs are the signature feature, integrated into the caseback at converging angles that provide high tensile strength despite a small contact area with the case. The 42mm case includes a display back. Crowns contain the SB monogram. The high-quality hand-worked dials are produced by Cadrans Design, another Bvlgari Group subsidiary. Buckles are also produced by a group member, Prestige d'Or.Beneath the dial on this model is a BVL 360 Caliber automatic winding annual calendar with a 225 retrograde date hand. The movement, produced by Vaucher for Bvlgari, has a hand-decorated plate and bridges with an original biaxial c?tes de Genve and a traits tires treatme

While it is unquestionable that watches have gained significant heft over the last two decades or so, watch lovers cannot seem to agree on whether it is a matter of natural progression or simply just a fashion trend. While we believe that the trend of larger watches is partly dictated by fashion styles, there is also some evidence that suggests that it is simply a natural evolution of watch design based on consumer demands.Elsewhere, we learn about the history of Longines and also visit the many fascinating depths of the incredible manufacture that is Audemars Piguet. You will find an inside the manufacture look in the brand's Le Brassus headquarters as well as their high-end movement making facility in Le Locle, APR&P (Audemars Piguet Renaud & Papi) and their Heritage & Restoration Department. Omega Man!
You know that old movie with Chuck Heston, named Omega Man(it`s remake was perhaps last year`s biggest hit,I Am Legend)?I think that I should change my username for that!Yesterday I traded my beloved Rolex Explorer II WITHOUT box or papers, for THREE Speedmasters! Two of them are brand new, with box, papers, and waranty!!!Here`s the short story:my friend WAS Omega A.D. for last 10 years or more.He looses his license this year and startet to sell watches that are left in storage room.Couple days back I bought from him blue Speedmaster from Schumacher series. And now listen to this:he gave me my money BACK,along with also brand new same model but with SS bracelet and with yellow dial and with ALMOST NEW Speedmaster Proffessional - the legendary Moonwatch! And all that for my Expy! And I did it!I gave him my Expy(without box&papes) for two UNPACKED Speedmasters and one ALMOST NEW Moonwatch!I think that I made very good deal, but I`m sure as hell in one thing:sooner or later I`ll get my hands on
