Please note that the US President in this message does not endorse this ad. This is a brand new advertisement campaign from Omega with permission from the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation. The ads will not be limited to the US, as this international campaign is part of a larger effort by Omega to increase demand for the brand worldwide. Recent efforts include the opening of a flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York City, as well as a celebrity appearance by Michael Phelps (which makes sense as Omega is the official Olympics watch).The Kennedy connection is of course possible due to licensing from the John F. Unbelivable !! Shocked !! A Dynamic Date NOS...
The Dynamic date was my first important watch back in 1996. After 13 years of on and off use and after the last 7 years spent on my dad's wrist,the poor guy is now well beaten.To my disbilief,passing by in front of my local Omega AD today I've spotted a brand new Dynamic date !! Just mint new...NOS !! Price tag was at Euro 732 and I did not want to step inside the AD just to ask if any discount was available. I've just bought a Sinn 656 and I have a Longines on the way from my wife,buying the Omega would just be a symbolic way to remember old times,I would rarely use it !!! ....what to do ??? What a watch !!! I hope is just the heat of the moment.....

Alternative Speedmaster Bezel
I like to fiddle with perfection.What if Omega put a rotating bezel on the Speedmaster Pro, somewhat like a diver's bezel, but with a nice clean representation of 60 units, without any 15 minute emphasis as on a diver's bezel.This would allow the user to move the zero of the bezel to the minute hand, and then time two events, perhaps one precision event and another non-precision event.I wonder about this because I have had a chronograph in the past with a tachymeter, and I used the function once or twice to check my automobile spedometer, but otherwise, the tachymeter bezel has no use for me.On the other hand, I fly an EMS helicopter for a living, and I sometimes have two events to time, neither of them really requiring split second precision; but, with a rotating 60 unit bezel, I could time both of them easily by rotating the bezel to the minute hand for one event, and using the chronograph function for the other event.I really don't expect Omega to change the Speedmaster bezel.I just

Hey Guys ....I hope this thread finds everyone well.I just landed Home last night. Was too hard trip flying all the way to the very beautiful NYC (meeting my Daughter) and then back to LHR for a couple of days to get my new 5131J.First of all, let me thank Mr. Thierry Stern who made this dreams comes true (I'll never forget his kind support & nice words).Getting this beauty made more than happy specially I picked it up from the wonderful London Salon.First Pics ....Wish everybody a great moments.
