Omega Moonwatch 39.7mm question
Hello again, I am still in search for my next watch. I had been looking at the Ladies Speedmaster, because of its small size, I have a very small wrist. But another watch was recommended the Omega Moonwatch 39.7mm. Can anyone who has one give me their opinion of the watch. Also what are the advantages and disadvantages of a manual wind watch compared to an automatic? Will this watch require more frequent servicing? Will this watch need to be wound daily? I generally prefer bracelets, is a replacement bracelet for this watch expensive. Thank you for your assistance.Hoops10

Panerai dial variation "L Swiss L" and "L Swiss Made L"
Just notice something interesting and hope some expert can shed some light in this. On my 119 the original dial is marked as L Swiss L. Watch was from 2005.Last year I've send it back for service and requested dial to be changed (corner of the dial was chipped). When I got it back the dial now says L Swiss Made LI thought Panerai would have kept some spare NOS dials for servicing. Wonder what is the difference. Pam061. Thoughts for a first Pam?
The more I look at Panerai's the more I seem drawn to the Ti models. Not a fan of the all polished cases that a lot of the SS versions seem to have. I like the small seconds of the 061 & 177. I also think the tobacco dials are neat and a little different. Currently I own a 16610LV sub and a older TT datejust so I feel like I have the dressier side of things covered and was thinking adding a Pam Ti model to my collection would cure my need for something a little bigger than my Submariner. Thoughts, advice, ect. Greatly appreciated
Rolex for the active individual?
Hi TRF, first post here! I֪ looking to pick up a new (to me) Rolex. I have a 6542 that my dad dad gifted to him when he graduated from the Air Force and I have an AP 15202. Both watches I feel are too fragile for what I want and neither do I wear all day every day. I purchased an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean back in 09 as my first, nice watch and Ie thrown everything at it: surfing, snowboarding, dirt bike rides, backpacking, etc. and the watch still looks great and keeps great time without a service. However, I֪ looking to upgrade the Omega to a Rolex.I֪ familiar with the tried and tested criteria Rolex watches go through, but I֪ curious when they started testing the watches beyond the limits the watches would ever see. Ie narrowed my choices down to a Submariner or a Sea Dweller (40mm). I֪ looking for this new watch go go everywhere with me to get knocked around and build its own character. How far back I should narrow my selection to, knowing the watch has gone through the gamut
