An Icon Revisited: Movado Museum Classic
Movado, which made headlines last year with its release of a new series of smartwatches, returns to the iconic watch design that put the brand on the map back in the mid-20th century. Here’s what you need to know about the Movado Museum Classic.Aficionados of horological history are aware of how Movado’s now-iconic Museum Watch and its instantly recognizable dial design came to be, but for those who are not, here’s the story in a nutshell. American industrial designer Nathan George Horwitt (1898-1990) came up with the idea of a simple black dial with no numbers or indices, and only a single gold dot at the 12 o’clock position, in 1946. The dot, according to Horwitt, was meant to symbolize the sun at high noon, an essential element in early timekeeping. 1.5 Link
Anyone else annoyed this isn't provided by AP if you need it out of the box if the watch doesn't fit you properly? I am quoted around $300 for it for my new 15400st. Is this what others have seen in terms of price? I wish they would just take one of my many links I have removed in exchange for the 1.5 link. Thanks
Which AP RO is the best?
Always been curious about this with all the hype around certain ones. Never seen a thread/poll on it before.

Squeaky Bracelet- year old watch
Hello all,I come to you with a small issue. My sub is is a year old now and squeaking from the two end links like never before. I have given it a soap bath several times now, but that only corrects the problem for a few hours. The slightest movement produces an audible squeak. I have heard of this issue on new watches, but pushing a year of almost every day use I would think it would be gone. My watch did receive a polish job, could that have anything to do with it? What other measures could I take to correct this? Thanks!
