Pre-SIHH 2016: Vacheron Constantin
Vacheron Constantin has just announced that for the 2016 SIHH, they’ll be introducing four new models into the Métiers d'Art Fabuleux Ornements collection. The collection was first introduced two years ago as part of the larger Métiers d'Art collection of timepieces, and basically, they’re intended as a celebration of the decorative arts of different cultures, with Ottoman architecture, Chinese embroidery, Indian manuscript, and French lace. These arts are interpreted through engraving and openworking, as well as through enameling techniques, including cloisonné and champlevé, and guilloché engraving techniques.The new references use the same basic design motifs as the models introduced in 2014, but with variations in colors as well as new case materials. My perfect Breitling.........what's yours?
Well it isn't easy looking through the range of Breitling watches which one is right for me.But after some deliberation, the one that most catches my fancy is the Breitling B1 SuperQuartz.This watch is just unbelievable. It has about anything and everything you can imagine. Awesome Emergency style dial. It is no longer made, so that gives it an added attraction to me. The SuperQuartz accuracy so you get the best in quartz technology.Priced way less than a lot of watches.I'm going a hunting

Omega GMT 2535.80.00
Good Day All,I was looking at a few watches today. I am thinking of getting an Omega GMT 2535.80.00 the new model (with the Glassback and Co-Axial movement) or a Panerai (PAM 210 or 183). Both very different watches but I can only buy one next year. Does anyone have the Omega GMT 2535.80.00? Is it a good watch? I want to get something with a glass back (and maybe 24 hour GMT).Thanks,Eric

Cutting off Flippers... Good or Bad?
Cutting off those who buy Rolexes from ADs out the back door in order to flip them or buy them for less of a discount in the showroom in order to flip them... What would happen if these people no longer existed? If they were cut off, would it be good for Rolex? Would it be good for ADs? Would it be good for consumers? Or would it be bad? Could there be a certain segment of the market who would no longer buy the watches? Would waiting lists shrink? Would waiting lists grow?So do you think shutting down the flippers would be good for the final end buyers or bad for them?
