Al Pacino is the recipient of the Jaeger-Le Coultre Glory to the Filmmaker 2011 Award, a prize of the Venice International Film Festival dedicated to an artist who has left an original mark on contemporary cinema. The prize has previously been awarded to some of the greatest figures in film including: Takeshi Kitano (2007), Abbas Kiarostami (2008), Agns Varda (2008), Sylvester Stallone (2009) and Mani Ratnam (2010). The awards ceremony took place on Sunday September 4th during the 68th Venice International Film Festival. Festival Director Marco Mueller described Pacino as An amazing director, whose experience is precious and original, and enriches the world of contemporary film. The award ceremony preceded the world premiere of Pacino's third feature-length directorial picture, Wilde Salome. Referred to as his “most personal project ever,” the unconventional feature documentary invites audiences into Pacino's private world, as he explores the complexities of Oscar Wilde'
Watches Of The 2014 Brazil World Cup
Soccer (football) teams (clubs) from around the world will compete for about a month in various cities around Brazil from June 12-July 13, 2104 during the 2014 FIFA World Cup games. One of the most watched sports event around the world, the 2014 World Cup may easily break worldwide viewing records and will have a minimum of about 600 million to well over a billion viewers. That is a lot of eyes, and watch brands both mainstream and luxury are doing their part to be a part of the Brazil World Cup action.Rather than discuss all the competing World Cup soccer teams, watches-dealer will explore the major watch brands competing for viewer attention, and identify who they are backing, be it player or team.HublotSponsoring: Official watch of the 2014 FIFA World CupSpecial 2014 World Cup Watch Models: Big Bang UNICO FIFA WC Official WatchApproximate Average Brand Price Range: $20,000 - $40,000BulovaSponsoring: Bulova is the official timekeeper and watchmaking partner of Manchester United (Engl
The IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar In White Gold With A Blue Dial
I spent the day hanging out with IWC in Schaffhausen working on a little video project that will be ready in about a month. But, while bumming around bugging everyone from the museum curator to Kurt Klaus himself, I came across what is just seriously a beautiful watch. I'm talking about the IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar In White Gold With A Blue Dial. 2 OF 4 Now if you know anything about IWC and its history with perpetual calendars, you know that Mr. Klaus designed the first QP back in 1985 that was fully operational by just the crown - that means no pushers at all. The movement inside this Portuguese is no different, and the day, month, moonphase, and year are all completely in sync, always. That means if you stop wearing the watch and it stops running, you don't have to set each indicator individually, but rather, just set the date with the crown and all else with adjust itself accordingly. But that much, I knew before seeing this Portuguese with blue

BLNR or Pepsi
Hi all - I am a new boy and hoping for advice / thoughts.I am in a position to buy a brand new GMT BLNR, but love the Pepsi ( I have tried on an early 2000's model)I have seen a Pepsi (2005) in mint with all original box & papers. My friends tell me the BLNR is the one to buy as its brand new & there are many Pepsi's out there. I am not rich and would hope the watch I choose would accrue so I might pass it on to my children eventually. So what do I do - which might accrue the most and leave my children with a higher inheritance.Any thoughts would help me decide what to do.
