Lew & Huey Riccardo Review
Not too long ago, we introduced you to the Lew & Huey Riccardo. At that point, the brand was trying to raise money via kickstarter to get the watch off the ground, which clearly was successful. Chris Vail, the brand's founder, did an excellent job of building community support via WUS and various blog posts, creating a following before the watches were ever even made. Now, the Riccardo is practically sold out and people are awaiting his next watches, the Acionna and Spectre.There were a few very exciting things about the Riccardo, so we were quite happy to have the chance to give it a review. To start, it's an automatic chronograph that costs $550 thanks to the Seagull ST1940 movement inside. We love it when brands takes risks, and in the Swiss and Japanese movement dominated watch-o-sphere, using a Chinese made chronograph is a bit of bold move, especially for a first watch. But, it's a very cool movement and one of, if not the most, affordable way to make a new mechanical chronog

AP ROO Navy 26470
Hi all,First thread in the AP Forum. Quick intro. All my watches have been Rolex (+ some pre-WIS purchases unworthy of mention), but about a year ago I started to get drawn into AP. The journey began with the fascination of the RO Jumbo, 15300, 15400, and recently the ROO Navy. Haven't seen a lot of mentions here like the Safari and Elephant. Is there love for Navy? Here's a shot of what I tried on last week (sorry crappy pic). I'd never thought a ROO could even be an option due to its 42mm size on my smallish wrist (~6.75) but I got bit hard. Just felt amazing on the wrist. The navy dial is simply mesmerizing with the orange highlights and details. Wow. The rubber strap, I think, is what makes this ROO feels like a perfect fit on a smaller wrist (or any wrist) Very curious about your expert input or insights here about this reference. anybody swapped hour/minute hands on Seamaster 300m co-axial?
For all the Omega owners who tinker/customize their Seamasters.... has anyone swapped the hands on the mid-size Seamaster (36.25mm) with the arrow hands from a Planet Ocean? I got a nice offer for a Seamaster 2222.80 recently, but the hour/minute hands just don't do it for me, but the arrow hands wouldn't look out of place on such a watch... any thoughts on this?

Omega Speedmaster 50th anniversary limited edit.
I have become interested in acquiring one of the new Omega 50th anniversary Speedmasters. The Omega site isn't too helpful, and I've seen these watches advertised with a transparent case back as well as some with a solid case back. I've also seen a couple of different crystal materials as well as the two different movements listed. Several sites show the traditional 1861 movement while other sites list the new co-axial movement.Are there really this many variations of this limited edition model?I prefer the 1861 manual movement with a solid case back and a sapphire crystal. Is this variety available?
