For years, I have admired the subtle elegance and incredible design found in early 20th century AP's. Undecided between business casual watches
Hello,I am pretty new around these parts, but have been bitten by the watch bug pretty hard. I currently have an Omega PO 8500 as my daily beater. I wanted something that would withstand my semi-rough ways, and the PO was perfect. It goes really well with my daily attire, which is jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers. I'd say I dress like this 95% of the time. Now I am in the market for something that is a little less casual. I very rarely dress full blown formal, so business casual is what I am aiming for. So less, day at the beach and more Easter dinner with the whole family. My current favorites (other than the impossible to find Silver Snoopy Speedmaster) are the Omega Grey side of the Moon and the Rolex GMT II 116710ln (ceramic). I like the BLNR, but I think I would get tired of it eventually (plus I love the green hand on the LN). First watch - Rolex 16520 or AP 15400?
Having a hard time deciding which one to choose. I've always liked both and feel like AP is much more polished/refined, but Rolex would probably be better for daily wear and more reliable.Opinions please? Both are around the same price.
