Corum Acquires Technical Expertise; Launches Admiral’s Cup Seafender 46 Dive and Chrono Dive
In a move reminiscent of Hublot’s acquisition of BNB Concept, Corum has acquired key members of Les Artisans Horlogers, a movement specialist that filed for bankruptcy in January 2011. Corum is also launching two new Admiral’s Cup models: the Seafender 46 Dive and Seafender 46 Chrono Dive. Find pricing inside. Like BNB Concept, Les Artisans Horlogers worked quietly with brands to develop highly innovative and complicated movements, including recently the H-shaped movement in MB&F’s HM4 Thunderbolt. Les Artisans Horlogers co-founder Laurent Besse, along with two engineers, one movement designer and one technician, will soon begin work at Corum's facility in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
