Heading to the Cayman Islands with my Diver!!!
First trip for my Diver and also the first time it will come in contact with saltwater. I will report as much as possible from there and let's see how well the rubberclad on the crowns tolerates the salinity of the water. Got the SMPc this afternoon..
Went to the AD, tried on both the black and blue dials, and chose blue.I had the original wavy blue dial 10 years ago, and figured its time to get one again.Neat glossy dial, updated bezel, great legibility.Sizing took a while to get the right fit, and more time consuming though.Overall very glad I pulled the trigger, classic design update.Thanks for reading everyone!!
Datejust redesigned case - How fast will SS and DD follow?
I know it's guessing but based on the past, how fast will Rolex release the updated Datejust in SS and offer new/other dial configurations? Or is this something reserved for Basel 2019? I like the TT but I rather get a SS DJ with a special (blue) dial.And I was wondering if they would change the 36mm Day-Date case as well? Go through the whole DJ and DD line-up (except the DD40).
