Celebrating The 100th Anniversary Of The First Chronometer Certified Wristwatch By Rolex
As proudly stated on their dials, all Rolex timepieces manufactured today are?certified chronometers, meaning that every single one of them has been?rigorously tested for?timekeeping accuracy. With that in mind, we could C and perhaps we do C take the accuracy of a Rolex watch for granted, so now let's take a look back in time and discover how Rolex have created?the first chronometer certificate wristwatch ever, tested and awarded?by the incredibly demanding Kew Observatory exactly 100?years ago. Those intrigued by the provenly superior accuracy of timepieces will surely?be familiar with COSC (Contr?le Officiel Suisse des Chronomtres), the official Swiss chronometer testing institute that has been issuing certificates since 1973. Braclet Question
I purchased a Seamaster Bond edition today. This is the first Omega I have owned. Mostly had Rolex's with screw in links. Has anyone had trouble with the push pins in the links. This is the only problem that I have with the watch. Seems like the band would stretch easier with such thin pins.
564 timing issue
My 564 isn't running very well. OK it runs really well, fast, fast and faster. I am not a watchmaker but this doesn't look quite right, does it?It does this at full wind, after a day or so it settles down, but I am sending it back. It's still under warranty. I'm disappointed.
Peter Gunny strap for the 422
This was the other strap I ordered for the 422. Picked it up on s Black Friday deal. Peter's straps are more rustic than Aaron's but softer/more pliable. Excellent quality.
Pictures Wanted - BLNR with Blue Rubber Strap
Does anyone have a good picture of their BLNR with either an Everest or Rubber B BLUE strap on it? I don't trust the pictures on the websites. They really don't show how the watch would look with a blue strap. Thanks!!
