Sinn 103 A Sa B Watch: The New Arktis Of 2015?
For 2015, Sinn has released the limited edition 103 A Sa B watch, hearkening the beautiful blue tones of cult favorite Sinn 203 Arktis. Blue happens to be hot this year (if you didn't notice), and I am glad that watch makers ranging from those producing fashion items, to companies known for making seriously high-function tool watches, like German Sinn, are embarking on the complicated task of releasing their own blue-colored watches. Why a complicated task? A successfully made blue watch makes the process to create a blue watch look simple, even though it is certainly not. Making a nice-looking black watch is easy, because when it comes down to it, there is just one real shade of black. Blue, on the other hand, involves a whole world of tones, shades, and finishes that must work in perfect harmony on a watch in tandem with things like case materials, dials, and hands. Thus, producing a nice blue watch with just the right shades that appeals to the most people is tough - perhaps that is
IWC For Prada Ref. 3708 Limited Edition Watch Available
I've often thought it odd that Prada is of the few luxury fashion brands out there that doesn't a nice watch collection. I mean they do have some branded watches, but they are nothing special. The brand is really missing out. This IWC watch is the next best thing, and is a damn good looking IWC watch based on it's GST series (whose case later made it to the first Aquatimer watch series). This is a very rare IWC for Prada limited edition watch that was released several years ago. There were only 2000 pieces, and they are hard to come by today. The original price was something like 8,000 Euros. This one on eBay is in basically mint condition and going for about half that. I'd like to think that this watch would look damn nice with an all black suit right? The movement is a modified ETA Valjoux 7750 that has the seconds counter removed to give it a cleaner bi-compax layout for the subdials.?? The use of silver tones with the black subdials is well done. My feeling is that the watch is them
Letters To The Editor: A Reader Wants Help Picking A Breitling
Hi Rob, Jack Forster here (Managing Editor) and thanks for volunteering to be the first! It’s a great idea, and one we’ve certainly talked about here a lot. We’re definitely going to start keeping an eye out for great questions from our readers. Of course, we can’t answer every query but we want our readers to know we really appreciate their input and look forward to being able to get into some interesting discussions with you guys and gals. Bear in mind we’ll always try to present your email verbatim but we may edit (lightly) for clarity, punctuation, and so on. If everyone can please also bear in mind that what you’ll read is always the take of a particular editor (myself in this case) and therefore really a personal rather than collective HODINKEE opinion, that’d be great as well. 2 OF 4 Breitling Transocean 1915 So here’s the score: we, and I, like the Transocean family in general quite a bit, and we’ve writte
Royal oak pricing?
Hello all,I'm sure we are all aware about PP Nautilus prices increasing significantly (both primary and secondary markets). This seems to have gotten more people interested in the Royal Oaks and Royal Oak Chronos. While the 15202 was always popular, the 41mm models are becoming more popular and harder to get than before as well. Do you guys think we are also going to see an increase in the MSRP for RO/ROC? With the 5 year roadmap to close all ADs + in-house movement for ROC at some point, do we see it pushing north of $30k to acquire in a couple years?Let the speculation commence!
Which one you guys prefer?
After reading much about Panerai models the two models that best suit my preferences are the 312 and 351. Which one you guys prefer? It is difficult because they are almost equal. Are saying?
