Hi Guys, recently I picked up the AP ROO Diver and I love this thing, so much so that Im wearing it regularly. However this has somehow ignited my interest in Genta sports watch. I used to have a 5711 Blue Nautilus but for some reason the dial just felt abit dated on my wrist and i never bonded with it so i sold it. I like the look and heft of the 15400 which I tried on, and was offered a white dial 5711 at the same time which i also thought looked good. Which one would you go for? Looking at values tho, it seems that at least in the UK its:5711, retail ?18,030.00 and ?14,300 for the AP RO?3730.00 differenceNow if you factor in discounts, its like ?18,030 for Patek (no discount on patek ofcourse), and ?10,500~ for AP, meaning differential is ?7530.....Which one would you get and why!?
strange to see photos of PP 5711 and AP 15202
I absolutely love both models but when you see pics of both you have a hard time believing that the AP is 0,2 mm thinner, as it looks, on pics much thicker to me, anyone have the same feeling about this?
Water in my 1967 Omega Speedmaster - advice please!!
I have unfortunately got some water in my 1967 Omega Speedmaster cal 321, while showering.I took the back off and it has dried out, but it only runs for about an hour before stopping and requiring encouragement to run again.What is the possible damage and what would be advisable to get it running smoothly again?Thanks in advanceDavid KennedyFarnham, UK

Hi everyone,Was looking around a vintage shop yesterday for a sub 1680 or 5513 when I came accross this classic moonwatch. Altho I do not like any chronographs on my watches,the classic lines and the patina on the markers have attracted me to the watch. I was just wondering if $2700 is a good price for it,the outside of the watch looks clean to me and it comes with the original bracelet and an extra leather strap? Will this vintage piece increase in value just like a vintage rolex would? Is this watch ok for daily wear,even taking shower with it?
