Casio Announces PRG270 Watch With Third Generation Triple Sensor
Not long after the introduction of their latest ProTrek flagship, the PRW3000, Casio has announced a new entry-level model that also features the updated Triple Sensor V3 technology. The new Casio PRG270 expands over previous PRG models with the latest Triple Sensor system from Casio and comes in a wide range of colors. Offering improved accuracy and speed, the PRG270 offers an appealing go-anywhere package for those who can to do without atomic synchronized timekeeping.Like all ProTrek watches, the PRG270 is a rather large and hyper-masculine sports watch with a plastic resin case that measures 54.6 by 14.4mm and weighs in at a feathery 67g. Designed for avid outdoorsy types, the PRG270 offers a host of systems for quantifying the wilderness including: a digital compass; altimeter; barometer; and thermometer. All of the standard digital watch features like world time, chronograph, countdown timer, alarm, perpetual calendar, sunrise and sunset timing are also just a button press away.
My Tissot Sea-Touch Watch Article On AskMen.com
This is not the first time I have discussed the new Tissot Sea-Touch watch based on the popular T-Touch line, but it is my AskMenwatches-dealer article on it. The watch is pretty cool - especially if you are a diver. You can read a bit more detail here (that also links to another article of mine). I get pretty prolific when it comes to these T-Touch watches. They are just so fun to play with. The Sea-Touch takes all the touch screen glory and adds some diving only functions that probably work really well, though I don't know when I will have the opportunity to test them out. While it will be available in other colors, here you got to go for orange!Read my Tissot Sea-Touch watch article on AskMenwatches-dealer here. Royal Oak - Regular Cleaning Regiment?
Sorry - Regimen.OK. Dumb question. Not as dumb as What is the average discount I should received on a stainless steel Rolex or Is it safe to wear my expensive watch in _____ City, Country etc...Now we know (after numerous comments from Padi) that the best way to clean a Rolex SS sports watch is with a soft toothbrush and gentle soap / warm water. No Veraet / fancy watch cleaners required.Same for a Royal Oaks? 15300 / 15400 / 15202?Reason I ask is I know the fine brushed surfaces can scratch if you look at them funny. Would a garden-variety toothbrush mar the fine brushed surface of a RO?What do folks to do in terms of regular cleaning? Thanks
RAAF Breitling
Nancy's son out west has an old friend, now living in Australia, visiting for the holidays. He's now a fighter pilot in the RAAF. I received the pic below in an email this morning, and here's the text of the messages: Very cool, definitely not a safe queen! Is it a RAAF issued watch?AlYep...he flies an F-14 Tomcat for the Australian Airforce.79 of these were made. He got #11. It was the number of his first plane. His watch is light. Made of Titanium.Cool watch...
Why so manywatches without boxes and papers?
Hello All - Very new to the forum - and to Rolex....Looking at purchasing my first Rolex (Sub Date). I'm leaning towards used at the moment. My newbe question:Is there a legit reason why 95% of the watches I find have no box or papers included? (I find this especially true with dealers... Not as much via private party)I've read lots on the forum about the pros/cons to having the complete kit, and I understand it all... But I feel like I'm missing a piece of info as to why so many are box/paperless - even ceramic subs that are a year or two old.
