5180 at AD
Was at the AD and came across what I think is quite a rare bird. The pictures don't do it justice. The skeletonised movement and engraving is breathtaking. Some pics of the display case. I finally joined the family...
After many years of being somewhat interested in Panerai, I finally decided to get one after seeing one up close when I saw my long lost friend while on holiday in London a couple of weeks ago. He was wearing a 372. I tried it on and liked it a lot but unfortunately I thought it was too big for my 6.75 wrist. I searched for something similar and found the 560. Simple yet stunningly gorgeous. I bought it last night from a local AD at a fantastic discount and wore it to a wine tasting tour in Napa today. Here are some pics.
