Bring a Loupe: Completely Fake Patek Philippe 1463 In Steel On eBay For Over $25,000 C Here's Ho
Fake watches are scary and plentiful, great original watches are beautiful but scarce – this is why we keep you up to speed in our weekly edition of Bring A Loupe. However, a weekly column isn't enough to flag all the offenders and we see countless bad watches sell each week. Sometimes, however, we see one that is so offensive, and in this case, so expensive, that we just have to dedicate an entire story to it here. A watch listed right here on eBay is supposed to be a rare Patek Philippe. It is, of course, not at all a Patek Philippe, but that doesn't prevent it from having a price of over $18,000 right now, with two more days to go.I will not only expose the parts that make this fake the worst buy you could ever make, but also the general attitude that I recommend having when hunting for a watch. My motto: only the paranoid make good collectors. When It Is Too Good To Be True Finding an amazing watch for a bargain is like looking for water in the desert: th

2500 or 8500 ?
Paid a visit to one of my local A.D yesterday with the hope of looking for a Planet Ocean Liquid Metal L.E. As you guessed, they didn't have one. On display in front of me was the 45.5mm new Planet Ocean ceramic with orange 6-9-12. I tried this on and was impressed with the quality and weight of the watch and also how the 6-9-12 reflected the light, quite superb! We talked watches for about 20 minutes and I left with the salesman's card and that he would phone Omega UK about the availability of the LM LE and phone me when he has some more info. He phoned today when he said he would with the news that Omega UK have back orders for 77 of the LM LE and couldn't promise that all will be fulfilled. He also mentioned that the 42mm version of the new PO 8500 with the orange 6-9-12 is also on back order with a total of 74 people waiting. Now comes the dilema, do I buy the 45.5mm 8500 PO which is in stock or wait and see if a PO LM LE comes up?The LM LE is priced at ?3700 with no discount due
Don't see a single Deepsea 116660
Funny how there are no Deepsea Black dial available at all on the forums. I have been checking for weeks now and only the JC seems to be for sale. Is there a reason or is the watch just not a flip watch per say?
Have heard more than once today the 116610lv is being discontinued!
Has anyone heard the Green submariner 116610lv will be discontinued?I have only heard this from dealers who are selling them so I'm a bit apprehensive to believe it.
