Five Reasons to Buy Audemars Piguet
1. TraditionAudemars Piguet is the oldest surviving fine watch-manufacture still operating under the control of members of its founding families. Maintaining independence throughout its 137 year history has given them enormous control over creative direction and quality. Buy an Audemars Piguet because you want a share in their tradition of fine watchmaking, not because of their commercial value. 2. DesignAudemars & Piguet were brought together in 1875 by a shared passion for mastering complex watch mechanisms and creating innovative designs. These principles still characterize Audemars Piguet watches today. Last year saw the 40th anniversary of the iconic Royal Oak, which was designed by Gerald Genta in 1972 and retains its original features to this day. 3. In-House MovementsJules Audemars the watchmaker had a reputation for being able to master even the most complicated mechanisms. In his honour Audemars Piguet continue to create movements in-house. Whatever complication
Got back Breitling.
I've had a few Breitlings over the last 5 years. Well 6 actually. Usually selling one to fund another. I've been a little more fortunate this year and managed to hold on to my Sub and buy a 2007 Chronomat Evo.Matt black with silver subs on leather. Very clean condition with all papers including original receipt.Really liking the first day with my new Breitling. I do have a question though.Do any of you guys wear a Ocean Racer strap ? Any comments on value and comfort ?
Planet Ocean Titanium bracelet
Does anyone know the bracelet reference number for the Planet Ocean Titanium 42mm (232.90.42.21.03.001)? Looked everywhere and can't find it. Thanks.
Sports - Dress combo
What combo would you get if you want two pateks, one dress and other sports? I am so happy with my 5711 that I am looking to add another Patek to the collection. The 5711 has been an all-rounder so far. Day to day, house work, trips away, everything and it is holding up very well. Looking to add something very different to the nautilus : gold, leather strap, elegant. The 5196 and the 5205 really tick a lot of boxes ... Would love to hear your opinions.
