The Bremont Wright Flyer
A piece of history being made and every watch a piece of history. There's not much middle ground with Bremont. It's either Bremont? I've got three already!' or Bremont? I'd rather wear a Casio." This is a good thing. When a watchmaker polarises opinion, it generally means they're doing something new, interesting and different. And that's just what Bremont have done. They've created a new English watchmaking business from scratch. Starting in 2002, it's grown in the twelve subsequent years from a tiny operation to a significant brand.Make a success of something and you'll attract your share of detractors and, historically, the watchbuying public have been split on Bremont. One side has talked about the quality of the watches, the warmth of the team (Bremont's always been a hands-on business), and attention to detail. The other has accused them of being contrived, too focused on image and too dependent on branding. And there's always been that accusation' of using bauche movements, de
Survivor ROO
Hi Guys : Thinking about getting something out of the norm for a ROO. Been thru multiple 44's want something that's different and stands out. Something that is uncommon to even someone who knows and owns AP's. The survivor comes to mind. Looking for input on the model, I know it's a love or hate it piece because of the push guards, case & bezel design but that's what's attracting me to it. Would love to hear your thoughts. Found a mint one on TRF complete set for 31K. Here are some pics for reference. Happy 4th to us Americans !
What's between the bezel and the case?
hello fellow Trf'sI've just noticed that on the ROO line there's a black detail between the bezel and the case Just wondering if you experts could kindly explain what is it? I did not notice it in person whilst I was at the boutique . Is it the waterproofing rubber ? or an O ring ? _________________________________|______[]__________________[]_____|-bezel|______[]__________________[]_____|-black material ?| [] [] | |______[]__________________[]_____|-case | | Screw Screwsorry for the hand drawn pic :( CDN attach pictures
Polishing Bond Style Bracelets
I'm looking for a Seamaster Pro Chrono. I've seen some with some pretty beat up bracelets. I know what's involved with polishing a Jubilee or Oyster style Rolex bracelet, but I'm wondering if it's a similar process for the Bond bracelet. I see some parts of the links that seem highly polished while the majority of the bracelet has a satin finish. Thanks for any info.
Man plans, God laughs
My AD called me to say he had something special for me...Now not going to lie; it wouldn't be the first Nautilus to come to my mind, but definitely grew on me. And love it! Plus I got a nice discount as well NEVER in my life would I think I'd ever purchase a two toned watch!!
