Introducing The Blancpain Bathyscaphe Chronograph Flyback AND The New High-Beat Caliber F385 (Which
This year at BaselWorld, Blancpain followed up last year's Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe (HODINKEE "A Week On The Wrist" review here) with a chronograph in a similar form. That's cool and all, but to me the most interesting aspect of this watch is not the available fully ceramic case, or the NATO with ridiculously hardcore hardware, or the general sleekness of the end product. Nay – the most interesting part of this new Bathyscaphe is actually what's inside. This is the first Blancpain to feature the brand new caliber F385, which is a ground-up new concept for them and a fairly impressive new development that doesn't seem to have gotten a lot of attention. That's about to change. 2 OF 24 First, the details of the watch. Sized at 43mm and available in either full ceramic or satin-brushed stainless steel, the chronograph is 300m water resistant and holds on to many of the design traits seen in last year's time-only Bathyscaphe. Omega All Ceramic Speedmaster Lunar Dust Release date?
Anyone knows when it will be available or released? I have yet to see one. Anyone that has it please share some wrist shots. Thanks!
Incoming...5167a!
Well, I'm officially hooked! Second Patek Philippe from my AD, and in less than three months! Received my 5711/1a at the first of the year, and now just received my 5167a!I know at first glance these two are similar pieces with the movement, size, and bezel. But they wear and look very different in the flesh. And this may be sacrilegious to say, but I think I like the 5167 even more than the 5711! It doesn't photograph as well as the Nautilus, but it's stunning in person! I wear shorts, t-shirts/polos and flip flops most every day and the Aquanaut goes with that lifestyle perfectly. Needless to say, I couldn't be happier! Coupled with my 114060, I think I'm set (for a while, haha!) with my 3 watch mini-collection. And this forum has been so educational and knowledgeable about brands and references, without being condescending to others with different opinions. I appreciate the insight and I'm grateful to be a member here on TRF!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Anyone out there own a worn & Wound nato?
Howdy!Anyone out there have this nato strap from w&w? I️ am quite fond of the sage grey color for my blue pelagos but $50 for a nylon nato seems steep....https://shop.wornandwound/collec...dpt-strap-sageSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
