Zenith watches really get around - especially on the wrist of Johan Ernst Nilson. A Zenith brand ambassador, Nilson is a modern day explorer who has been going on "expeditions" for about 20 years. Now in his early 40s, Nilson is in the middle of a serious journey called the Pole2Pole adventure. The trip is taking Johan from the North Pole all the way to the South Pole, and will be done mostly via kayak and bicycle.Nilson travels for personal and physical exploration. His trips teach himself and others about personal empowerment and the power of a "can do" attitude. Nilson has authored books on the subject as well as participated as a motivational lecturer. I returned to Edinburgh, the city of my birth, this weekend for fun, frivolity (and alcohol!) at the annual Festival.Obviously I had to visit the high-end watch shops while I was there (much to the Long-Haired General's delight!) and I made the HUGE mistake of trying on a white dialed AP 15300...Please guys regale me with tales of how awful they are so that I can banish the covetous little demons from my mind!!!

PAM 422 Goes to Italy!
Hi All,I recently received a PAM 422 about a month ago as a gift to celebrate my wedding on Sept 26th. The first time I saw a Panerai I was immediately hooked, even if I didn't know it. At the time, I was wearing an Omega 2254 Seamaster, and the Luminor style watch with the large crownguard looked so different from anything else I had seen before. Although I thought the watch looked ugly, I felt inexplicably drawn to the design. My interest in Panerai and watches in general picked up, and I came very close to picking up a Zero or 112, but I ultimately held off because I decided to leave my job and go back to grad school.Fast forward five years and a lot sure has changed. First and foremost, is my recent marriage to a lovely lady who not only appreciates me, but also my passion for Panerai. In fact, she was the one who suggested I get a Panerai as my wedding gift! Your advice re PAM 82C and a titanium bracelet
Evening All!Am hopefully about to pull the trigger on an 82C. A few years ago I had an 89E and put an OEM titanium bracelet on it which used micro adapters to fit the case properly. Stupidly I didn't record the ref nos for either the bracelet or the micro adapters. I want to do the same again if I land the 82C. Can anyone help me get the right ref nos to take to a Panerai boutique? The dealer here in Dubai is v poor knowledge wise and i reckon I can probably get the answers through the and guys like you rather than spend 3hrs on a weekend with him explaining it!Thanks guysM
