Beyond the ��berWatches: 5 (Possibly) Overlooked Watches from SIHH 2014
At this year’s SIHH, as per usual, the lion’s share of buzz and attention went to a handful of “headliner watches,” or, as we at WatchTime have dubbed them, “��berwatches,” even though most of the watch brands each released a dozen or more new products for 2014. Aqua Terra 8500 crown
I have an Aqua Terra 8500 that I recently purchased. When I screw the crown down it feels very tight, but when I unscrew the crown it is easy. If feels like when I screw down the crown the movement is being wound also. On the other hand I have a Planet Ocean with the 2500 movement and it is smooth and easy both tighten and un tighten the crown. I put some KT22 lubrication on the crown threads and that did not seem to make a difference. Is this just a characteristic of the Aqua Terra and the 8500 movement or could there be problems. Hey all, Need your help on picking a PAM. What does everyone think of the 468? I really like the 44mm size and the pig dial....Is there another model I should be looking at? My current collection consists of a Daytona, DJii, and SubC. Thoughts?
