Introducing The Rotonde de Cartier Earth And Moon, A Tourbillon With On-Demand Moonphase Display (Li
Over the last few years, Cartier's Fine Watchmaking department has been consistently pushing out some of the most creative and technically impressive haute horology around. Just a few weeks ago we showed you the new Astrocalendaire and today we've got another stunner for you. The Rotonde de Cartier Earth and Moon uses its tourbillon and a moving Lapis Lazuli disc to display the phase of the moon on demand and there is a second timezone display as well. The Earth and Moon is as much a mechanical sculpture as it is a timekeeper and here we've got all the details. The Earth and Moon is not a subtle watch – far from it. The platinum case comes in at 47mm across and 16.65mm thick, with robust arching lugs. Incoming Tomorrow
Since I sold my 2 APs, I needed a daily beater. 5522 is a ways away as is the 5524. So got a call from my AD that he had a piece that my brother wanted but my bro decided to bail. So it looks like it's mine. It's not a Patek by rhymes with Gorex. :)Not a planned purchase but I'll take it.
Pam728 box?
Hi allRandom neurotic thought. I know panerai sometimes does special boxes for special editions with some accessories or strap changing tools - but when I bought my 728, it came with an ordinary box. The box is quite lovely in a blondish type wood. But does anyone know if there is a magical life changing box (ha!) or an I just overthinking this ? Thanks in advance.
Think I'm gonna have to get this.....
Sneaky Rolex added this dial to the inventory at Basel. Not much was said of it, but I'm in love!! I had this dial on the TT DJII and really loved it. Doubt this one will have a 2 year waitlist to it either. They offer the dial on both smooth and fluted bezels as well as oyster or jubilee as well (4 options) a little torn on the oyster vs fluted option....Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
