Hair puller...
Hi there !I went to my local AP store to test and feel a Royal Oak Chronograph, silver dial.It was $23,000 and something (I forgot)..., anyway, I was very happy with the weight, looks and finish, way beyond from what I'm used from Rolex. It was all good and dandy untill I wore the watch, you swing sideways and up and down your arm to make the watch confortable on the wrist until 'ping!' A stinging sharp pain on the wrist, and another one, and another one ... The sales person knew I was in pain due to my bulging eyes look and quickly added, I know, is and issue with that bracelet, it does pull your wrist hairs, but, we also have the same watch with the leather option or you can wear it and wait until it pull the hairs that are on the wrist and then you will be fine of course we are friends and these were jokes only meant for me! The hair pulling thing for me is very real! By the way, another gentleman browing another brand looked at my scene there said I know, I also have hairy arms, I h
The Beagle has landed....Snoopy FTW
I usually don't make incoming threads but I feel that this watch is special enough to make one to share with the Rolex folks as well:Like the title says, Snoopy has landed finally today (well yesterday to be exact but I had no time to pick up yesterday). Took a little time off work during work to make the drive down to Fashion Valley Omega Boutique to pick up this beauty. I inquired on the piece since September 2015 and was officially moved on to the allocated list in November 2015. I can say to all those still waiting the wait is worth every second and then some. This watch has to be seen in person to understand the minute details.....the multi layered custom enamel backing to give the space dust a 3rd dimension, the white yet almost metallic dial (it is def
Best Nautilus / Aquanaut combination - what would you choose
I'm about to pull the trigger and will buy 1 Nautilus and 1 Aquanaut. Models I love are:-Aquanaut 5167r and both 5164's.Nautilus - 5712 g and a and 5726a with leather strap. The crazy wait time for 5711a is just too much for me.If you could have 1 of each which would you choose and why???I'm erring towards 5712g and 5167r just now. Thin case profiles, 1 complicated and 1 time only watch and of course different metals. Sadly, the Premium for 5164r is just a little too much!Which would you choose and why?
