Roundup by Kenny YeoIn the fourth edition of our bi-weekly news roundup, we interview Hublot's Jean-Claude Biver; check out George Daniel's co-axial chronograph watch; examine the implications of the new Swiss Made ruling; learn about the finishing technique of beveling and more.1. Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean GMT Watches Hands-OnJust before Baselword 2013, we previewed the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean GoodPlanet GMT watch, which was a special edition watch which would offer a glimpse as to what the regular Planet Ocean GMT watches would look like. Now, however, we have pictures and a video of the rest of the Planet Ocean GMT lineup. Predictably, the new Planet Ocean GMT watches are handsome looking pieces and are built to very high specifications - water resistant to 600m and ceramic bezels with lacquered painted numerals for all models, except the one with the orange bezel, which is aluminum. Angular Momentum Freehand TEC/A13 Piece Unique Watch
I really think that everyone needs a wildly well-lumed "mail-lumineuse" -based watch by Angular Momentum. The compound is a special enamel and luminant mixture that they do so well. All those bioluminescent tones together make for lots of eye candy. Angular Momentum has been playing with designs and this is one of the newer ones. Part radioactive warning, and part cuttle fish, this latest Freehand TEC/A13 watch is an interesting sign of the designs to come. I really like the large luminant dots on the bezel that continue mirrored on the side of the? bezel. This is a very interesting style and I think it works really well. The case is made out of Angular Momentum's new preferred steel - Staybrite 1.4435 Ncu that is specially resistant to corrosion and is very high quality. The case is 46mm wide and 12mm thick. The lugs are singular and
Royal Oak Owners in San Francisco
Hi everyone, I was curious if there are any 15400 or 15300 owners in the San Francisco Bay area who have their watches sized to about a 6.5 wrist. I'm debating between the two models and it's tricky to gage exactly how they will sit on my wrist once properly sized. I'd be Wilson to buy you a coffee or whatever you'd like :)Here's my thread on the sizing concerns I have - .rolexforums/showthread.php?t=494704Thanks!
