The screws are used to finely adjust the mechanism. If the duration of each oscillation of the balance needs to be shortened, milling miniscule amounts of metal from the screws' heads can reduce their weight. The opposite result can be achieved by inserting tiny washers. Lange manufactures these tiny screws to a tolerance of two micrometers and then plates them with gold.This blued steel screw keeps the intermediate-gear cock in its proper place

AP ROO RC confusion?
Just picked up a ROO RC with the white face. I was told by the AD that this was the brand new model 2013/2014. When looking online on the AP website the only Rubberclad model pictured is the black face with white dials.Can anyone confirm the difference. I was under the impression that the RC came in both the black or white face.The model number I have in the owners documents is:26940SK.00.D002CA.02.A

Yesterday went to the jeweller to buy something for my girlfriend, and he told me i have a beated up watch collecting dust he almost begged me to buy it so I said sure and here it is. At that moment I didn't knew about this reference. The speed is running well obviously needs a good service. Should I polish the watch? Someone knows were can I find a bracelet? Where can I find the case number to determinate the production year? Regards

Crown direction on 5711 movement?? (When forwarding the time)
All... please can someone clarify to me the direction you turn the crown on the movement of a 5711. My 5712 is clockwise to move time forward but have seen YouTube video showing it in an ant-clockwise direction. Please can someone confirm. Thanks in advance...👍

Hi! Y'allI am big fan in this forum for awhile and consider to step up to buy PP watch. After I read this pp forum and realize that which model should I go for. Then, I know that I am in love with 5711 blue face and cant stop dreaming, I have to pull the trigger. As u know, it is super hard to get it. I went to many countries to find and I couldnt find it. Until I went to Spain (Granada) with my wife and I found it. Super lucky and happy to own it. Thanks to this forum make me happy to get what I really want.Thank you again..
