Glashutte Original Senator Panorama Date Watch
It certainly isn't anything revolutionary, but for 2013 one of the new Glashutte Original watches will be this attractive Senator Panorama Date. A simplified version of the Senator with a basic three-hand movement and big date indicator as part of the Glashutte Original GO 100-03 automatic movement. There is an 18k red gold version on a strap which is nice, but what I like a lot more is the steel version with the bracelet. That straight-forward German styling with the large blued-hands make for a fantastic dress watch. Size is 40mm wide which should satisfy the formal/classic watch segment. While the movement does have a gold automatic rotor, I am hoping that the steel version is priced in the $7,000 range that is both reasonable for the brand and should attract enough attention from newcomers to Glashutte Original. RRO 42mm Value
All,I was curious to everyone's thoughts/previous experiences with how the RRO non limited edition lines hold their value... Seeing that current pre-owned 42mm themes sell between 12.5k-18.5k usd do they usually go up in value over time? Would them being discontinued because of the new 2014 line coming out increase their future value or will it just be regarded as a old model with little demand like some of the older RO chronos and first ROO models?The piece I have in mind in particular is the Safari which would be put on a bracelet.Thank you in advance!

Longest Wait On AD List (Before Getting The Watch)
With some people being quoted 8 and 10 year waiting lists on the new SS Pepsi GMT (had heard similar stories on older 16520 and newer 116500 Daytonas, the SS Sky Dweller, etc.) wonder what is the longest someone here had actually waited on such lists before getting a watch. I don't mean people that are still waiting on a list, but rather people that had already got the call and bought the watch after a pretty long waiting period.
