Thoughts on Chronomat 44 GMT
I've been thinking about picking up a Chronomat 44 GMT Patroille Suisse 50th Anniversary watch. I've never owned a Breitling before; my current collection consists of 4 Rolexes and 2 Omegas. I like the look of the Chronomat, but I don't know much about Breitlings. I'd appreciate your thoughts on this timepiece. Thanks!

Around 8 years ago I first saw the green Submariner. I know that green is Rolex's brand color, but I thought the watch was somewhat of a joke. It never appealed to me at all. It never appealed to anyone I knew. If anything, a couple of my friends made fun of the watch, on their own volition, without any prompting.About 7 years later, with supply low, and then demand going high, so many people, including myself, began to appreciate the appeal of the watch. I was seriously considering cutting the Swatch, and my minor connections in my metropolitan area allowed for this. However, every single person that saw the watch, including my wife, dear friends, co-workers, strangers, every single person with whom I spoke either politely described why they disliked it, to outright laughed and shared how ugly they thought it was.I'm only saying this because I think it's nice for us to not only partially depend on each other's opinions, but to seek other opinions as well, especially to the people with
