HourTime Show Watch Podcast Episode 164: Apple, Rolex, Orient, Luminox
How often do you hear Apple, Rolex, Orient, Luminox together in the same sentence? This is probably a first for me as well. After some hands-on time with the Apple Watch, we discuss more about that most anticipated smartwatch of all time, and then dive into a chat about my long-term review of the Rolex Submariner. John checks out a Luminox automatic chronograph, and we talk about the value of budget mechanical dress watches from Japanese watch brand Orient.Listen to the HourTime Show Watch podcast episode 164 here. Speedmaster 145012-67
I just bought a Omega Speedmaster Professional w/ a cal.861, the number in the caseback is 145012-67, is the 861 caliber correct for this model, and does the '67 mean 1967? Thanks
Incoming! PAM 911: "Last one for Paneristi"
Saw the PAM 911 announced on Instagram last week and decided to take a chance on it even though I never saw it in person. The early photos definitely didn't do it justice with most pics making the dial look bright green. Photographing this watch is tough and its hard to get a really good feel for it unless you see it in person. In the steel, the watch is a stunner and the dial is more of a dark camo/military type green. Its color is subtle and changes between green and grey depending on the lighting.Big thank you to Khalil at Panerai Central and Julie at the Costa Mesa Panerai boutique for making it happen. Now for some pics!
